A message to Joe : You will NEVER be managing the Yankees in that stadium. You are FINISHED as a Yankees manager after this year. It's time to say goodbye.

This article is so vague. Kerrigan is a mole, but who is he representing? Is he representing Tampa and George? Or is he representing Cashman and the New York offices?

I have no idea what is going on. That article just makes it more confusing. Torre needs to go. I'm not saying to fire him straight up, but let him have his press conference, Jeff Van Gundy style, to retire. Then name Girardi the replacement. Getting rid of Cashman is a terrible idea. We will then trade away all of our prospects for guys like Helton and Ken Girffey Jr. We need to keep Cashman to prevent that. -Jitpal

Yankee general manager Brian Cashman said he was surprised at a FOXsports.com article questioning his relationship with manager Joe Torre. Cashman also denied he has had involvement this season with former Yankee coach Joe Girardi, now a Yankee broadcaster.
"Joe (Torre) and I are as close as we have always been and Girardi has not spent anyt ime int he front office since he has been here with the television,'' said Cashman.

"I have only seen (Girardi) once, and that was when the team was in Texas. He has been as off-property as he can be. When he was here as a coach he would come upstairs, but it was to look at videos of players.''

Cashman said his relationship with Torre has never wavered during the team's struggles this year.

"We are as tight as we always have been,'' said Cashman. "I've taken responsibility for what has happened and Joe has taken responsibility.''
