A pitcher isn't allowed to work out of trouble anymore? Clippard was at 89 pitches, I've had it up to here with Torre's quick hook. It's a joke. He needs to be fired.

We had a 4 run lead and Clippard was at 89 pitches. There is no excuse for him not to be in for the 6th inning.

The excuse is Torre isn't going to leave someone in there to lose it, he's gonna let the bullpen lose it...hes never gonna be too careful. Don't understand where hes coming off? Think out of the box for once....try to have more than one viewpoint....I don't always agree with Torre but I can understand where he's coming from most the time

No, why don't you start thinking out of the box and stop supporting every single one of Torre's moves?

If he said to jump off a bridge, you'd jump off a bridge.

If someone told you to jump off a bridge you'd whine for a warning. Torre isn't going to tax young pitchers arms when we're 7 games out of first. He trusts Myers/Proctor and our relievers more than our young pitchers...especially late in games.

At 89 pitches I think you let him just finish out the 6th and give it to the pen in the 7th.
