Having melky batting second, just doesn't work. with runners on the corner and 1 out, we needed a pop fly and what does he do? he strikes out. I see this happenning too often with melky, he doesn't seem to be as patient in these situations and with two strikes he does not cut back on his swing. we are going to have to start getting these games fellas, we need to string together some wins, not win one and lose one, I don't care who the comp is. The errors(4) is atrocious and our situational hitting in close games like this have been bad over the past 4 years... melky exemplified exactly what is wrong with this team right now.... that was a big at back and a horrible strikeout!

Melky and Cano both go to the same school of situational hitting

That's more the entire team than Melky. Abreu did the same thing earlier in the game, as did Posada, as did Cano, etc. That is why our record is what it is. Not because Melky did it today, but because 5 guys do it on a daily basis.

CAno needs to get motivated, i'll tell you that much. Him and Abreu suck.

Melky saw nothing but breaking pitches from Krod, that pitch he has is filthy.

Abreu sucks....I've never hated a Yankee as much as him

We get it... nothing is ever Melky's fault.
