Future C Possibility

One guy I think is a possibility is John Buck from KC. The guy has a serious bat - He's got 15 HR in VERY limited ABs (192) and is slugging 542. His D and handling of pitchers is supposed to be good, and I'm sure Pena can improve that further. KC won't let him be the everyday guy, and he is unhappy with the situatiion. It seems like he can be had, hopefully cheap. He is relatively young (just turned 27), and this is his 4th season. I definitely see him improving in the future, we should make a strong play at the deadline/offseason.
What do you think of this guy?

He would be a good replacement, but I'm pretty confident that Posada will be back next year.

I like Buck, but I think we have time to just wait and see what happens because we know Jorge has at least two productive seasons left in him I'd think. If Montero is the real deal, we're still goint to need a 3-4 season tenure between Jorge and his starting at catcher. That could be Buck, but it also could be others.

If hes pissed at not starting in KC, why would he want to be a backup here? Im sure hes looking to start.
