Whether you like him or not, i think at the end of the day, proctor deserves a "thank you" for the effort he put in. Proctor is kinda like duncan and Phillips, spent a long time to get to the major but never complained. When ever we needed a reliever to eat some innings, Proctor always answered the call.
Please dont turn this to a "Torre killed proctor's arm thread"

Proctor was incredible for us in his short time here. He was the definition of an innings eater, and they were quality innings.
Thanks Scott... good luck in LA. Hopefully Grady doesn't abuse him.

We should definitely be thankful for what he gave us, he never complained and after he was dealt he was asked about being overused, and he said something to the effect of "Hell no, absolutely not, I'm glad Joe put me in all of the games he did, he showed confidence in me and I respect him a lot for it."

I like Proctor, and he really did a good job of helping the bullpen seemingly out of nowhere last season and beyond. That being said, I'm not sure how long his shelf-life is, and he had the most value out of all our hard throwing relievers.
Thanks for your time in pinstripes, Scott Proctor.

there goes the only cat in the pen who has the guts to stand up for the batters
meanwhile, the cat who stood up posada remains in the pen
something seems murky bout that picture

Proctor is one Yankee who truely earned his stripes (standing up to hitters, taking the ball whenever he was asked, etc.) and I would love to see him back when he hits free agency...which isn't until 2011....
Anyways, I'm not sure I buy all the hype about shoulder concerns. This is the same guy who was going to be made into a starter this offseason and thrown over 200 innings. But yeah, he prolly will end up like Tanyon Sturtze
