Outfielder Kevin Thompson was claimed off waivers by Oakland. He was 4 for 21 in two stints with the Yankees this season before being designated for assignment on Sept. 1

Hopefully he gets a fair chance in Oakland.... he never got one here.

Good thing we still have Kevin Reese. What would we do with out either one? lol
