From the postgame, Clemens has been scratched from Saturday's start. Hughes will take his place.

Why was Clemens scratched? Blister?
Only the Yanks can go from having too many starters (6) to too few starters (4) in a matter of hours. And both guys who were scratched didn't even pitch in the last 3 games.

F'ing rain. Torre might want to think about just flat out resting Clemens until the Postseason because he is ancient and banged up = disaster. We don't need another David Wells incident in a playoff game.
Anyboyd up for some offense today?

They keep getting all these cheap hits. Then Hughes get squeezed in the corners when he is trying to get a guy out. -Jitpal

I've only heard of all of the hype around Hughes, never really saw him in action till he came up to the majors. Why was he so hyped for? His stuff isn't that electric, I don't see him being a dominant ace in the majors.. granted he is only 21 years old, I just don't see what sets him apart from other prospects.

He was nasty early, then got injured, then during rehab suffered another injury. I don't expect to see Hughes at 100% until next season.
He was pitching a no hitter into the 7th before he popped his hamstring. At that time Clay Buckholtz (sp?) was in the minors.
