Yankees just lost a game

I didn't see a thread
Yankees got shut down by a slop tossing piece of **** who struck out 1 guy in 8 innings.
The most pathetic performance I've seen in a while from the Yankees.. they didn't even draw a walk.
To take the division, they'll have to run the table and hope the Red Sox go 4-2 during their last 6 games. If the Red Sox go 3-3, the Yankees will need to go 5-1.

Well Today was supposed to be an off-day so i expected sloppy play.
Anyways now the yankees have alot more games to play.

pathetic performance, you would have thought AJ burnett was on the mound with his best stuff looking at the stat line... geez, another scrub pitcher looks like cy young vs the yanks..

This would make a lot of sense instead of using Joba Chamberlain on back-to-back extra inning games and other nonsense in a fleeting attempt at the division. But hey, I'll take it. :)

When will you guys realize that some of these pitchers that shut down the Yankees are actually pretty decent. Hughes, Joba, and Kennedy are not the only pitching prospects in baseball.

agreed. McGowan on the other hand is going to be a good pitcher

I don't mind getting shut down by McGowan and Marcum. They are good pitchers who have good stuff.
Jessie Litsch on the other hand... he sucks.

These guys are in the major leagues for a reason, they have talent...much more so than we have. They will go through hot streaks from time to time.

It's not so much a hot streak as it is luck. Litsch is really awful. Worse than any pitcher on the Yankees staff, at least.

As a Jays fan, I agree, Litsch is awful. Gets lucky some games, like he did yesterday.
McGowan, Marcum, Burnett, and Halladay has potential to be a pretty good rotation for next year. Hopefully Chacin is back from injury...
