Game 1: Chien-Ming Wang

Game 2: Andy Pettitte

Game 3: Roger Clemens

A few of us waited down on the field until the end of batting practice to get a reaction from Wang.

I would have preferred to start Pettitte on the road in game 1 and let Wang pitch game 3. Oh well. This isn't bad. -Jitpal

why would you want to hold your ace until game 3? we can't even use wang for two games if we wait that long.

you not the only one to suggest that but i dont understand the logic. I know wang pitches much better at home than away, but the same goes for clemens. If the series goes to 5 games, do you really want clemens to pitch game 2 and game 5? We dont even what we will get out of clemens after his 2weeks off. I think Wang, Pettite and Clemens is the perfect rotation.

Wang-Game 1 Away
Pettite- Game 2 Away
Clemens-Game 3 Home
Wang-Game 4 Home
Pettite-Game 5 Away

I forgot who said it on WFAN, but someone said they hear Torre is real sold on Ross making the playoff roster. Its going to be a tough decision because all those pitchers, atleast to me, should be on the roster.

I have no problems with the rotation. Screw the home and road splits, I want my best pitcher making the most starts. Wang is our best pitcher.

And there's no way I would hold out Wang until Game 3. Especially with the health of Clemens.
