Our first win out of 11.

We get a good performance from Pettitte and we smack around the Crack Fiend.

Lineups later.

JUST WIN.

Bring this series back to New York tied.

The Yanks are 8-2 in series which they have lost game 1 since Torre took over, and one of those series we lost was the Diamondbacks, so it's practically 9-1.

A win tomorrow and this series is over, because Westbrook and Byrd are not doing to beat us in Yankee Stadium.

Our 2-6 hitters last night: 0-16

Granted some of them did they take their walks (Abreu and Arod specifically) but we are going to need to do better than that if we are going to win this series.

I think the only players you can't blame for last night were Damon, Abreu, Arod, Cano and Hughes. Everyone else stunk up the field. -Jitpal

Replace Vizcaino with Farnsworth, and I'd be okay with that. Hopefully, we can get 6 out of Andy so we don't have to use Joba for two.

Great at-bat by Matsui. He needs to get on-base and drive in some runs.
