do we get compensation picks if he goes elsewhere? I doubt he would be anything other than a type A free agent. just making sure the opt out has no effect on the picks. and if we do get the picks, I can't wait for Oppenheimer to get us some future stars :clap:

Yup, we get two picks for him if he signs elsewhere. Let's hope a decent team signs him so we get a pick in the first round (and the other in the supplemental round). If a crappy team signs him (the 15 worst teams) then we get two picks in the supplemental round (which happens right after the first round).
