Miguel Tejada?

The Orioles would be interesting in picking up Kyle Farnsworth from the Yankees, says the New York Times.
Since he's due to make $5.5 million in 2008 and then become a free agent, Farnsworth would hardly be a key piece in a Miguel Tejada trade. Still, if he comes cheap in terms of talent, the Orioles could spend the cash and plug him into the closer's role.

Krazy Kyle, a couple of B level prospects (Clippard, DeSalvo, Karstens, Rasner, White) for Tejada? farnsworth and tejada both need a change of scenery.

I read that the Orioles want major league ready hitting prospects, which we don't have much of to offer in a deal. If it is a matter of money, we can definitely work something out. But if it is about hitting prospects, we aren't in position for a trade.

It always has something to do with money. They are going to have to accept lesser prospects the more money they expect other teams to pick up.

I worry about Miggy's ability to move to 3rd. Depending on what we give up I guess I wouldn't be completely against it. Although, I think I read that the Yankees are weary of dealing with his steroid baggage since the Mitchell Report could name him (as others have).

Is it possible Tejada can play either second or first????
It seems we might have somebody playing third unfortunatly...
