By no means has this season gone as planned, but I think thats getting a little carried away. We were about 15 games out at one point last season and are in much better position this season. Aside from that, 60% of our opening day rotation is currently out with injury (Wang, Hughes, Kennedy) being replaced by the likes of Rasner and Giese, plus we survived month long injuries to our two best hitters from last season in ARod and Posada.

Like I said, this team should be playing better but we are in relatively good position compared to last year and considering the major injuries to the middle of our lineup and our entire rotation.

Last year the Rays werent the best team in baseball.

Now we have to deal with the Redsox AND the Rays!

More than one team in the race with us?!

Come on, this is baseball...enjoy it. Sinking ship? We aren't 25-55, we're 7.5 out of the division and 5 out of the wild card with 78 games left.
