No, not at all. The Yankee bullpen has been the strength of the team IMO. Borowski, isn't any good and wouldn't have a role. As much as everyone hates Farnsworth, I feel that he has been very good this year. He has been awful his first couple of years, but this year, I think that Farnsworth has been a much better then average setup man. Veres has been great in the seventh, and even Edwar Ramirez is pretty good.

Hawkins is bad, but he never will pitch in any meaningful spot anyway. I wouldn't touch Borowski!

I'm all for it. Why not? The bullpen as a whole has been great, Hawkins has been horrible. Imagine something happens to Farnsworth, Veras or Ramirez? We'd be screwed.

I'd give him a minor league contract and see if he can't work his problems out in AAA and maybe call him up in a few weeks. Otherwise, no. I think Borowski really lucked out last season and is an average to below average reliever at best.

No. Borowski sucks at this point.

If they're willing to give Sidney Ponson a chance, I doubt they won't at least look at him. He did manage to get 45 saves last year.

^^Yeah 45 saves while blowing 8 and havng a 5.07 ERA.... Not to mention that this year his ERA is higher than anyone in our bullpen. So yes he would be worse than Hawkins...

I'd give him a minor league deal, nothing more.

Why look at veteran RPs at this point anyway? Veras and Ramirez are both doing very well, Bruney is coming back soon, Robertson looks promising, and even Farnsworth's been pretty good when not hanging pitches for easy HR hitting. And there's still more youngins waiting to come up. The bullpen is in better shape than any other aspect of the team; it's only a matter of time before Hawkins gets the boot.
