Get him off of my team.. another game killing rally, another failure, another DP... with two on and no outs in the 9th, I hated seeing him come to the plate.. A-rod is a stat collector, that is all, he is not a great player, he is not a winner.. this guy is a big a loser as they come.. He folds like a lawnchair under pressure.... Honestly, I think it was a big mistake resigning this guy... telling him to stay focused is useless.. He is an overrated, stat collecting, overpaid, primadonna, loser........

I have had enough of this guy....

I know he's been bad, but you have to have some bad luck to ground into so many DPs.

garbage-rod is having a terrible year, when we needed him to carry us, he's too busy cheating on his wife

ahh how people forget...We wouldn't have even made the playoffs last years hand't been for A-rod... He's having a crumy year in which he'll probably hit 35+ HR's 100+ RBI's and hit over 300...

I'm dissapointed with the way he's played this year but he hasn't been our only problem. Having Ponson/Rasner as 40% of your starting rotation, having to start Jose molina 4 times a week jeter and cano having even worse seasons, Giambi(our 5th hitter) hitting 205 with RISP's and injuries have had an even bigger role in out failures this years.

People need to STFU because i'm pretty sure the ones wanting him off the team were the ones on his balls when he easily won MVP and carried our team to the playoffs...

why do we need to STFU? Read the threads, no one was on A-rods balls, maybe you, but not us.... and for the record, Rasner and Ponson are pretty much pitching to their skill level or overachieved at some point.. We can only hope and wish the same for clutchless-rod..

Oh please, I don't remember anyone wishing A-rod of our team last year. I also don't see anyone putting some blame on giambi who is hitting even worse that A-rod in clutch situations or jeter for being 2nd in the league in double plays... I guess A-rod is the easier target because of his contract yet the funny thing is, is that both players I mentioned eariler earn more than 20+ mil a year too (Jeter makes more money than a-rod overall through endorsements). So I fail to see how A-rod is our main problem.

As for ponson and rasner, you don't find it funny how we're depending on those guys when we're supposedly a championship contender... Look at boston, Matsuzaka has missed time, schilling hasn't even pitched, beckett has been out, wakefield has been out, bucholz has been miserable ala hughes and kennedy yet not once has the team had to rely on worthless pitchers as we do.

Blame cashman for assemblying this crappy ass roster before you blame one player.

your eyes must have skipped past the A-rod/ Giambi thread.. and Jeter has taken some heat.. The difference is, those guys have delivered. I am still waiting for A-rod. He rubbed me the wrong way with his opt out last year. I want him to do well, but so far in my eyes, other than big stats, he has not delivered...

I know I am frustrated and being hard on him, and he is important to this lineup, I just think he mentally folds in big situations.. it has to be that.. certainly not physical..
