Wang with Kaz (Wang on turf? they should give out helmets to the crowds, it could get ugly)

BUrnett with Garza

Andy with Sonnastine

we could easily get swept here

There are only a few teams that scare the s*** out of me when we play them and Tampa isn't one of them.

They have a solid starting rotation, but the only guy that i'm afraid of is Kazmir and we've beaten him before. Sonnastine isn't anything special and Garza is very hittable. I'm hoping for 2 out of 3 with us losing the first one.

And we can't easily sweep them? Tampa is playing like crap and Burnett/Andy looked great, and I expect Wang to bounce back.

have you seen how anemic the lineup card is without tex and arod?

One word though: Pitching. Nobody in the Rays rotation really scares me, they are almost all hit or miss when they take the mound and we have been getting really solid starting pitching as well as the bullpen before Coke blew up today. Hopefully Tex is able to go tomorrow, because if not then I agree it will be a struggle to win games 3-2 and such.

i like kazmir a lot when hes on

i guess it depends on if our starters do good...but man, those days when the yanks scored 900+ runs in a season has spoiled me :)

Wang starting the game real well...

1 inning: 6 hits, 3 walks, 5 ERs (61 pitches)

we can't have wang as a #2 starter.. He opened the floodgates.. game over in the 2nd inning.. down 9-0.. He needs to get another pitch, and move to the back of the rotation... that is for certain..

Wang is one more bad start away from me wanting to see Phil Hughes rather then Wang in the Rotation

Wang is going to need more than 2 terrible starts before we pronounce him "done"... he has had a bad start, it sucks yeah, but it happens. If he is still struggling in start 10, then we will worry.

These games happen, i'm not too mad. I'm laughing out loud because nick swisher has been our most effective pitcher so far..
