I'll be conservative and say post all-star break. The key though will be if he is able to play the OF or if he is just going to DH with Matsui. If he can't play the OF, we might need another one. -Jitpal

So long as Swisher stays productive, Nady won't need to field much beyond maybe spelling Damon here and there. Most of his at-bats will probably be coming from pinch hitting and DHing. It's better that he keeps from using his arm as much as possible.

I'm guessing he returns in early June. Bring Juan Miranda up and stop playing musical chairs with the roster in the mean time.
