I'm excited to see Hughes again especially vs another young great pitcher in Lester. Should be fun.

This umpire is a clown. I'm following it on gameday as well as the TV and wow. Just wow. Pitches that are in there, aren't even touching the black, are being called balls. The strikezone for Hughes looks to be if its right down the middle. Otherwise its a ball. Awful. No wonder Huhges' pitch count is so high. -Jitpal

yea, it seems as if hughes is having to put the ball on a Tee to get a strike..... but we didn't help ourselves with melky striking out with runner on third and less than two outs..

Agreed, the offense has stunk tonight too. However, it should be a much smaller lead for the Red Sox. -Jitpal

nice move by girardi to save jeter from being tossed... then damon cuts the lead in half with a homer and then TEX!! yes... one run game. nice.. this ump is a clown he put the squeeze on hughes and is giving lester all types of corner pitches.....

I love jeter, but we may have to start looking to move him out to left field and find another SS prospect over the next year or so.... I see more and more of those weak throws from him..
