burnett kept us in the game, but shouldve been pulled as he was at 100, but wasnt

He's averaging around 110 pitches per outing. No big deal. C.C's a big boy and he's in his prime. I'm glad he isn't babying him.

The only other pitcher averaging that much so far is Kevin Millwood. Sabathia is 3rd in the league in pitcher abuse points right now after coming in second to Lincecum last year (given Tim's frame and delivery, may God have mercy on him). I don't object to letting Sabathia do this here and there, but if they want him to ride out the full contract healthy, it's a good idea to keep this stuff in check and not do it every start.

Ah well. Good to get this win, anyway. :)

i agree, but you know, right now he needs to carry us, once the pen is back, im sure he can be limited more
