AJ burnett needs to start focusing on his pitching instead of his clubhouse antics

He had good stuff but, it looked like he couldnt really locate his fastball. It was either off the plate or belt high. The Phillies have an impressive lineup and Ibanez is playing out of his mind. First gunning down Damon at home and than crushing that homer in the bleachers. He's definately a early MVP candidate. Let's just hope the Yankees bounce back with Pettite on the mound. Also, I would like to not see Kevin Cash in the lineup ever again. Hopefully Girardi starts Cervelli and Gardner. Give Swisher a day off.

A.J's curveball was the best I've seen it all year. He was locating it at will. Unfortunately, he couldn't locate his fastball. It was all over the place today. He gave up all 3 HRs on that pitch.

his career OPS is .829 ... his OPS this year is 1.153 ... do the math, good thing he hasn't done much damage to the mets.
also shocked the yankee fans haven't taken a page from the met fans and have the rightfield chant 'jay-son werth-less' ... it pisses him off, he yawned and gave the finger to the crowd once.

there's the lidge we all know and love

hasn't been the same since ... except for that lucky year he had last year ... he's easy to figure out, he throws sliders in the dirt and the occasional fastball.
