Yanks at Cleveland

Post#1 » by EvadedHavoc » Sat May 30, 2009 8:36 pm

Game 1 Andy vs Cliff Lee

Game 2 CC vs Carmona

Game 3 Hughes vs Pavano

Game 4 Joba vs Sowers

Yanks won last night sox lost against the jays which allowed the yanks to move into first place in the division

Today the Sox lost again so the Yanks with a win tonight puts distance between themselves and the sox

Man, I hope Pettitte's alright. Couldn't capitalize on or baserunners last night, but luckily enough, Cleveland was worse and our pitching was solid.

Already up 5-0 in the 4th with bases loaded... Let's make this one sided... Lets go Cano!!

Cano brought in 2, but, A-rod was caught trying to get to 3rd. Doesn't matter. We're up 7-0, no way we lose this one.

Just a sad night if you're a Cleveland fan...Tribe loses, Cavs are eliminated...

I tell anyone how much I love Sabathia?

Oh and to top this nice win off, Boston also lost.

That was just a frigging frustrating half-inning. Hughes had trouble here and there but he was staying ahead in counts and got killed by bloops and such.

what hurt is giving up that basehit to that clown peralta.. first pitch fastball down middle.. they are all looking fastball, I would have throw him a cutter first pitch.. Hughes will learn, but he has to get smarter and bare down with guys on base..

Hughes has GREAT stuff, just needs to avoid ridiculous inning like the last one...

you need instant replayin baseball.. Jeter was clearly safe and we are struggling, it kills any chance at a rally, especially having pavano pitching so far above his head right now..

So Jeter is clearly safe at first, and it winds up costing the Yankees another run less then 5 pitches later. Terrible call.

I know the Yankees have been playing well...so il won't get on em too hard..

But to be shutout and get dominated AGAIN by that p*ss Pavano is frustrating
