Yanks at Marlins
The Marlins pitcher tonight has a decent ERA and Record so there just may be hope yet.

Great win.
Pettite gave us a solid 7 and we didn't have Arod in the middle of the lineup to end rallies...

Lets see if Burnett can build off of his last start or if he will revert right back to his usual ways.

So sick and tired of Cano's lack of patience. This is the second game-ending double play from him.

Oh my god... I just called Nick Green's walkoff homer never expecting that it would actually happen.

even scrubs hit homeruns.

That pie in the face win streak seems like a distant memory.

4 games out.. Boston is about to run away with the division and doing so because the yanks go 2-6 vs the stinking nats and marlins...
This team still lacks balance, especially our bull pen... Spending money and still looking this incomplete is a complete JOke!!!!

Re: Yanks at Marlins
The team was a Luis Castillo drop away from losing all 3 of their last series. They've clearly cooled off. The pitching has appeared to pick up again, but the hitting hasn't been up to its normal par lately.
There's not really a whole lot you could do about today though. When your ace leaves after 1 2/3 innings of play, it's just hard to patch together enough good innings to fill the void. It's hard to recover.
I will say though that I'd like to see Sergio Mitre called up relatively soon to become the new longman. Tomko is not getting it done.
