Good win especially since we have a tough game tomorrow against Halladay. Also, a decent chance of picking a game up on the Bosox tonight as long as King Felix keeps dealing like he has.

wang leaves with injury

send down phil to get stretched out and bring him as the starter

throw wang in the long relief session and wait till the offseason to get him figured out

I thought that Wang pitched well today but he made that one mistake to Lind.

I'm getting really tired of seeing Cano hit into Dp's.

I'd rather not make a move and stretch Phil out up here if he's going to get the starting nod. We have Mitre starting in AAA to pretty good initial reports too, maybe they keep Phil in the pen. If we do move Phil back to the rotation, you've gotta bring up Melancoln, no?

Yanks win, Sox lose. 1 GB in the division... Kinda sucks that the Yankees have the 3rd best record in all of baseball and aren't even in first place in their division lol..

Joba needs to be more efficient with his pitches, way too many pitches for the first inning. 15 pitches per inning = 7 innings (105 pitches). he just had 24 pitches = 4 innings (96 pitches)

joba probably needs to go back to pen. As a starter, his fastball is in the mid to low 90's, not the high 90's stuff that intimidated batters. Plus he is too ineficient as a starter, I mean He will have thrown 70-80 pitches by the 3rd and 4th inning, and today , he gave up 8 runs and he isn't even out of the 4th inning!!!!! a 3 run third and a 5 run 4th? come on... !!

In the pen he is dynamite for a inning or even 4 to 5 outs.....

damon v. jeter. yesterday jeter tagged up on a fly ball like that. come on damon, do the same, put a runner on 2B with 2 outs. it was either out of the yard or caught.
