When did Chien Ming Wang become Carl Pavano?

Today, my dreams of the Yankee rotation finally rounding into a nice collection of power and finesse pitching when Chien Ming Wang strained his shoulder today. It was especially painful because I thought Wang had pitched the best all season but the danger signs were there when his sinker was only 91mph.
This guy's conditioning has me concerned. I almost believe he shouldn't be pitching in the majors because teams are now in midseason form, while he's basically coming out of extended spring training.
He's a slow healer and now, the Yanks might have to dilute their pen by putting in Hughes to take his spot.
Baffling and I wonder what do the Yankees do? Call up Kei Igawa? Sign Pedro? trade for another arm?
