johnny damon has to be the worst left fielder in the majors. I think Matsui can do better on his gimpy knees.

Hughes pitches well in 8th of game he probably should have started; Sterling and Waldman fire up the Hughes as reliever stove.
If I could take back Joba's '07 callup, I would. It's caused so much goddamn stupidity.

Great win, great series. This team is on fire. I don't care if they put friggin CC in the pen, if we keep winning games and sweeping series we'll be OK come the playoffs. I'm kinda bummed we've got the all-star break coming up since everyone is looking so good. Nothing like the Blue Jays and the Twins to get your confidence up.
