Does anybody know where he will be assigned to... Id assume he would probably go 2 the Gulf Coast Yankees... i would like to see him be assigned to the Staten Island Yankees cause they have to come to Albany this weekend to play against the Tri City Valleycats..

I haven't come across anything yet. The minor league season ends in a few weeks and Slade hasn't played in a while, so I'd imagine he might not play for a week or so until he gets acclimated. I can see him getting a few ABs in the GCL, he is only a HSer so I don't think they'd throw him right into Staten Island.

Slade Heathcott told me he is currently in the GCL with the team, and is hopeful to get in a game tomorrow (8/20) or Friday.

Sooner than I expected, nice to see him get in some games before the season ends.
