Don't know why CC started, thought we would give him extra rest or at least limit his pitches but he's already at 71.

He was going for his 20th win. That's why he started.

So when he was shutting down the red sox a week ago he was getting ready for the playoffs, but, 2 innings later he's worn out all of a sudden? GTFO of here..

I thought it would be better for the TEAM to give him some rest instead of throwing him out there for an individual achievement.

EDIT: Can someone explain why Andy is starting? Didn't he have fatigue issues? Or is he going for 20 wins....

REST THE PITCHERS FOR THE POSTSEASON

We have nothing to play for until the ALDS. WTF

Don't want to let these guys get stale. Let them play out the rotation as usual in advance of the DS and see where we're at then. We saw what happened when we started screwing around with Joba's schedule...

Whats this stuff about resting pitchers? Can anybody think of a team that gave its starters 10 days off before making a postseason start? These guys are professional athletes, not 2 year olds.

ALDS starts in 4 days. If they're gonna start, at least limit them to the 50-60 pitch range. These professionals can use some rest, especially someone like Andy who had fatigue issues a few weeks ago. Not to mention CC who was overworked last season and had a meltdown in the playoffs.

A-Rod managed to get to 100 RBI's and 30 HR's despite entering the game with 28HR and 93 total RBI's.. and he did it all in one inning... awesome..

CC has already been given more rest than he's ever had in his career. Take it easy.
