Twins might be really tired by tomorrow night. That game, exciting as it was, went 12 full. However, they've got some good momentum. Let's squash whatever hope they have.

If the Yankees manage to lose this series, it will probably be at the hands of Mauer (or an 02-08 Angels-style inexplicable bloopfest at the hands of Punto and company). Fortunately, Gardy did everything in his power to bring in an unrested bullpen. If the offense, Burnett, and Pettitte don't all simultaneously implode, this shouldn't be hard. Yankees in 4.

Well Ricky Rubio ain't bringing it that's for sure...

My one concern is, for some reason the Yankees tend to make young pitchers better than they are. It might be a tight game for the first 4-5 innings with this young kid if they foolishly help him out by being over aggressive.

Right now, the Yanks can't have the stars aligned any better. They are well rested against a very tired Twins team that depleted their pen.

i honestly had no idea what team i wanted the yankees to play. twins are smoking hot, while the tigers have so many more weapons (verlander, cabrera, granderson, ordonez, jackson). i guess im happy thats its the twins since theyre pitching staff isn't the best and theyre missing their best power hitter (morneau)

I just got off the Phone with NAS. He said if you listen closely to the intro he not saying **** Jayz. He knew one day a cat name Joey would play himself on realgm. Ether was meant to be used in the future. :o

CC definitely needs to pitch well in this first game. If he does I don't think he'll have any problem this post-season. Hopefully the offense (A-Rod especially) come to play.

Let's go Yanks.
With Tex here, A-rod shouldn't feel that he has to be the "man" on offense.

EDIT: 2-0 already wtf.... all started cause of that strike that the ump called ball meanwhile he gave the Twins pitcher the strike call gainst Cano on a similar location....

Teixeira being Teixeira? :dontknow: Hadn't been for Jeter trying to steal 2nd and Punto with the errant throw, Teixeira would have hit into 2 double plays... so...

I knew he was gonna fail in the first inning... at least he's sharp on defense. Funny part is that the announcers are dissing him too.
