Who in the league has better?

Red Sox, slightly IMO. I'd also be scared of SEA in a short series as well-Felix and Lee is a ridiculous duo.

I think what helps us is the depth of our rotation. We go 5 deep with legitimate starters who can all have great outings on any given night (some less consistent than others which is why they're at the bottom of the rotation). Then in the bullpen, we will have Aceves who can give us spot starts, and Hughes or Joba who long-term are looked at starters (at least for now). And in AAA, McAllister will be knocking on the door for an opportunity should once open up.

Boston's rotation is very, very good as well. Although I'm not a big fan of either Matsuzaka or Buchholz, we all know that both of them have the potential to have very good seasons.

With our offense our pitching should have a breeze.. cant wait 4 this season

Mo is going to be here this year, and probably sign another 2 year extension I would think, so no need to worry about that anytime soon.

One year deals from here on out with Rivera seems likely. I would love to see the Yankees get a perpetual team option at $10M-$12M on Rivera, similar to what Boston has with Wakefield.

Replacing Rivera is impossible regardless of who is one day given that assignment. But closers are made more than they're born and frequently come from nowhere. Ryan Franklin's 2009 is proof of that.

Between Joba and Hughes, I feel their mental makeup and secondary pitches leads the former to be a reliever and the latter a starter.

It would be nice to see if the Yankees can snatch up Cliff Lee next offseason. Hughes seems to have better stuff than Joba but I'm not sold on either as starters.
