Las Vegas could be on the brink of pilfering another professional sports franchise from Oakland. A report has surfaced that the Oakland Athletics (A’s) are bidding for a stadium at the site of the Tropicana Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

And to think in the late 90's I thought of maybe the A's moving to vegas & they have a retractable roof just like zona. Never thought it would be the other oakland team that went there. But I believe that the 10 year extension lease drove the raiders to move. I knew it the second it happened. And they might be joining the raiders in vegas.

RIO would be a decent location. Just off the strip behind Caesars. If I lose the A's to any city I need it to be Las Vegas.
