A's acquire Dee Brown from D'Backs

Can't find a link... but we acquired him for cash. Most notably of the KC Royals (98-04)... another former 1st round pick that we've acquired... it seems we're trying to find another diamond in the rough, anywhere we can. Hell, it worked with Cust right?

Probably... but thats 3 former #1s we've taken...

Jack Cust
JD Closser
Dee Brown

Just doesnt seem to be a good reason to acquire someone.... but who knows. With our injury history, Brown will be up with the team before Milton Bradley can say 'strained hamstring'...

Is this the Dee Brown that played for the Celtics, or the one on the Jazz?
