Athletics Acquire Brandon Moss From Royals For Pitchers

The Kansas City Royals have traded Brandon Moss and left-hander Ryan Buchter to the Oakland Athletics for right-handers Jesse Hahn and Heath Fillmyer.

Moss is owed $8.25 million for 2018 and the Royals included $3.25 million in the deal to offset that.

The Royals could use the savings as they continue to attempt to re-sign Eric Hosmer.

I dont know why so many sites are reporting he's at 8.25.. even spotrac has him at 7.25

Anyways, I hope he makes good on his promise and makes it a tough call for us in spring training. Loved having him here, but we just dont have much of a role for him right now. Love how much it cost us to get Buchter though, who seems to be on the high-end of LOOGYs
