I saw this and was shocked... he was hitting well this spring, still can't play D a lick, but considering Dan Johnson went on the DL, I thought he was a lock...

We kept Todd Walker over him. Not so sure about this one... Walker's trying to play for every team in his career, it seems...

There's just no where to put Durazo, Piazza is the fulltime DH, and you can't put him at 1st.

I'd kinda prefer Durazo at 1st than Todd Walker...

Durazo's defense is worse than Walkers. His arms are too short or something, he's just horrible.

i thought he was playing well during spring training and that it he was going to make it to the final roster.

I thought so as well... and its apparent we could use a better bat in the lineup... esp. against righthanders. Chavez just isnt a force, even when healthy.

I really thought we'd have kept him for a left handed bat off the bench.

I see he's playing in the Mexican league,so maybe someone will give him another shot.
