How bad is our hitting?

Post#1 » by TSC25 » Thu Apr 12, 2007 4:43 pm

SEASON TEAM W L ERA G GS CG SHO SV SVO IP H R ER HR HBP BB SO

2007 Oakland Athletics 0 2 0.69 2 2 0 0 0 0 13.0 10 6 1 1 0 4 4

This is Dan Haren's stat line going into Friday nights game vs the New York Yankees,0-2 with a 0.69 ERA. We can't count on our pitchers to keep doing this if we aint gonna hit, which I just don't get it,we have guys that can hit. Man I hope it's just an early season thing.

It really is depressing. We just aren't developing any big time hitters lately... Swisher, IMO, is more slugger than hitter. Daric Barton looks to be our best offensive prospect in a long time.... I cannot wait to see him.
