Just drove by the place, everyone is going nuts for the W's... I wish I got tickets to this game, if the A's and W's win, the whole place will be a giant party.

A's starting pitching has been so great I can't really stop talking about it and the bats are coming around.

Im beginning to wonder if the shakeup I've been wanting for a while... already happened?

Cust, Snelling, Closser...

But I really wanted to see Daric Barton up.

He's being put on the 40 man, Jeremy Brown, David Shaeffer, or Javier Herrera will be taken off soon.

... taken off the 40 man roster is basically making it a little more difficult to call him up... he's not Rule V, we can do this no problem... if he was going to be used, we wouldn't have traded for Snelling/Cust/Denorfia... he's in AAA for a long time. I don't even see the point of posting that.

EDIT: I take back what I said about Brown - he has been outrighted before... however Shafer and Herrera have not.

Is that why we traded for him? :dontknow:

He's exactly like Cust... a AAA great hitter, cant put it together in the show... he's played OF and 1B before as well. I defenitely think we'll be seeing him, Melhuse seems primed to be gone and Jeremy Brown is not helping himself out. Suzuki has a couple years before he can be a major league C as well...

man what a great pick up by Oakland. I know Cust wont keep putting up the numbers he is. But as long as we get decent numbers from the guy it will be an amazing pick up.

Also nice to see Oakland take 2 of 3 from the Tribe. I am pretty impressed with our record when you consider all the teams we have played this year. A good portion of the games have been against teams who were above .500 last year and in the playoff hunt.

Not only that but with all the injuries, and the bullpen not playing as well as I thought they would, and were still just a game out.

Another series won and now it's time to focus on KC.
