Yahoo is overreacting, saying Walker's career might be over.... he played decently enough for us to warrant a minor league tract from someone.

The point is that his career might be over because he might not want a minor league deal, and would thus retire if that's his only option. Though you've got to figure smeone out there has room for a second baseman who hit .300 not all that long ago.
