Another gem from Haren (and ironically enough, my favorite non-Oakland player, Gil Meche)... blown by an anemic offense and a bad bullpen....
Consider me completely not sold on any of our relievers anymore. Huston's having a good year so far - though his BB/9 is alarming - but other than him... I shudder to see Duke or Kiko in the games nowadays. I cannot wait for Harden and Loaiza to come back, and push Kennedy back into the pen... maybe even Gaudin. Someone who's looking better than the current crop...
We need some big hits to pull this one out.... Cust - Crosby - Ellis coming up.

Bottom of the 9th, 2 out, one man on, and we already scored once. Going for the tie, let's do this!

I'm waiting for this game to end so I can finally to go sleep. Geez! With men on base it's time to win this thing, just simply tap the ball, so we can score from third.

I'll take the win but LOL @ walking the very clutch Chavez

that DJ sac fly could of been the 3rd out cus we know Chav is an automatic out. As I said though i'm happy about the win but this shouldn't have even gone extras.

Chavez's career splits:
I Split PA BA OBP SLG OPS
   Tie Game 1294 .290 .369 .509 .878
   Within 1 R 2449 .284 .363 .493 .856
   Within 2 R 3277 .276 .356 .482 .838
   Within 3 R 3879 .276 .355 .489 .844
   Within 4 R 4248 .273 .353 .486 .839
   Margin > 4 R 686 .256 .322 .494 .816
If people keep repeating a lie enough times, eventually the truth doesn't actually matter.

That game was very disapointing the BP can't continue giving up leads that is unacceptable.

Duscherer is Jeff Taming us right now... We need to get some new blood for our 8th inning guy. I'd be perfectly happy with Jay Witasick as our current closer/setup guy in the absence of Huston...
What an awful way to lose a game to an awful team.

How true...
I don't like losing a series at home to the Royals...

I'd like to see, at the least, a shakeup to wakeup. Bench Crosby, or Kendall, or any vet outside of Swish. Let this team know they need to pull their collective heads out of their

and start hitting the ball. Move Duke to a long term role and let Witasick setup/close.
The bottom line is that this team needs a kickstart, somehow...
