A's Place Street On DL With Arm Injury

The Athletics on Tuesday placed Huston Street on the 15-day disabled list with irritation in his right ulnar nerve.

The move is retroactive to Sunday, a day after Street tossed a scoreless relief frame against the Indians.

Street is 2-1 with a 2.50 ERA in 18 relief appearances and has recorded all nine of Oakland's saves this year. He had allowed just two runs over his last 13 outings for a 1.35 ERA and has not yielded a run in 15 of his 18 outings this year.

this sucks a blow to the BP is something we can't afford especially with how badly some of the arms are pitching lately.

More bad luck to add to the rest that we have suffered this year.

There goes our best reliever....

The next 15 days will be very iffy... we need the rest of the pen to step up, especially Calero and Witasick..
