Harden for Milledge?

With the Mets frustration in Milledge growing, is now the time to pick him up?

Harden's value is higher, but by how much? His frequent injuries are starting to add up - so which would help us more?

A deal that looks like:

Rich Harden
JD Closser

Lastings Milledge
Aaron Heilman
Kevin Mulvey

Not a bad haul for the A's... how long can we realistically invest money in someone who doesn't play that often? We get Milledge, a talented OF whos 'troubles' seem to be extremely minor and blown up by NY media... we get Heilman, who at worst is a solid middle reliever, but could turn into a primary setup man, and a longterm prospect in Kevin Mulvey (he's in AA)

JD Closser I added to the deal for the Mets in case they didn't want to turn to DiFilice or Sandy Alomar Jr...

Thoughts?

DISCLAIMER: By thoughts, I mean actually intelligent thoughts, not just "OMG your trading Rich Harden he's a stud pitcher blah blah blah. Think real life here.

As much as I wanted Milledge, now I'm not sure he'd be a good fit in our clubhouse, but I guess we never know till he got the chance,I'd say do the deal.

It's really a coinflip for me too... I dont think his attitude is all that bad, really. I just don't know if he's as "cant miss" as the NY media originally depicted him.

I don't know if I'm ready to give up on Harden quite yet.. although it's getting pretty damn close to that point. If they were going to trade him, Milledge would be right at or near the top of my list on who I'd like to see the A's get.
