Closer Street interested in long-term contract

The A's modus operandi with most of their proven young talent is to sign them to multiyear deals before they are eligible for arbitration. Closer Huston Street, however, is a major contributor who will be entering arbitration for the first time this offseason, as will starting pitcher Joe Blanton.
