Yahoo.com - The A's on Friday signed free agent catcher Matt LeCroy to a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training, according to Yahoo Sports.
LeCroy got the call after catcher Jeremy Brown, also invited to spring training, announced that he would instead retire.
