Our season took off when he came on board, then came to a screeching halt when he collided into Cameron and imploded.
So I guess it could go either way. And at 4 million, its inexpensive given the talent, but given he's still injured this suggests were pretty desperate for outfielders.
EDIT: Disregard above. Bradley to Rangers per ESPN. Oh well, back to two vacant outfield spots, assuming the Pads wisely balk at the contract veteran Cameron is likely to demand.
EDIT: No More Board Games

He looks really fat in that picture.
Judging by the timetable given, he may make for a great stretch-run addition. The price isn't bad and he's still relatively young. I like it.

^Yeah. It certainly fits Tower's MO of landing guys with talent at small prices.
Trouble with that is that you end up getting guys with injury and character problems (see Piazza, Barret, Bradley, etc) with mixed results. I guess I worry that this offseason will be another in which we move sideways.
I suppose I like it. We still need another OF though since I doubt Cameron is coming back. I keep hearing about Fukudome, but that seems a longshot. Any thoughts?

I think the lack of a surefire OF prospect in the system is more troubling than the retreads Towers keeps bringing in. But, then again, the market's pretty crappy for premier outfielders.
I'm not a fan of Fukudome at the prices that have been thrown out there (upwards of $16 million a year).
