I hate the padres more than any other team in the Majors, lost the first game in the series 1-0, :-(

with the offense looking this pathetic, they'd need to pitch 20 perfect innings every single game in order to win at least 81 games

Agree but how? Do we really have any parts right now that anybody wants? And who do we have in AAA or AA that is worth anything on the market? We very well may just have to suffer through this low season and hope we can develop our young A-ball tallent.

All kidding aside, I know we need to be patient and at least give this team a month but your point is very scarry Hopper. When you have more shutouts than wins, before long it has to become phychological and then what?

Roberts did look reall good last night. We also sent Frandsen back to AAA. Anyone know why? Sweetney off the DL? Found this somewhat odd, though if he is not going to play may as well send him down.
