Giants: Rowand set for return
As expected, Aaron Rowand was activated from the DL after Saturday's game and will be available to start Sunday's game in center field. Make that he will start. "I'd hate to think what he'd be like if he wasn't in the lineup," Bochy said. "He drove me nuts." Rowand, on the DL since suffering facial fractures when struck by a Vicente Padilla pitch April 16, resumed all baseball activities a week earlier and Bochy doesn't feel like there will be any issues with Rowand getting re-established at the plate after the harrowing incident. Said Bochy: "He's been working hard. He's been hitting the whole time since last Friday [when he was cleared to resume baseball activities]. He really thinks he'll be fine. ... He's one of the toughest guys we've ever had. You won't find anyone tougher in the game." The Giants optioned reliever Waldis Joaquin to Triple-A Fresno to make room for Rowand on the roster.

Here's the batting order btw

Rowand CF
Bowker LF
Sandoval 3B
Huff 1B
Uribe SS
Schierholtz RF
Whiteside C
Downs 2B
Sanchez SP

Probably our worst lineup all year. Hopefully Nate and Huff can stay hot.

Let's go Jonny

Huff has 2 great games at the 5th spot and we push him back up to 4th? Why?

Molina's not playing. Had he played, Huff would have continued to hit fifth, I'm sure of it.

This Chacin kid has some good stuff. Rowand and Huff looked defeated after 2 strikes.

Leave it to Medders to make a bad situation worse. He'd still be out there if it weren't for that baserunning error.

Yep. That looked like a tough home stand. It could have been a lot worse.

The return of Sanchez' control problems is disturbing though.
