Padres at Giants May 11-13

Post#1 » by Stanford » Tue May 11, 2010 3:48 pm

Here' s qué tenemos ir para nosotros:

Juego 1: Bamboleo LeBlanc, LHP (2-0, 1.16) contra Barry Zito, LHP (5-0, 1.49)
Juego 2: Clayton Richard, LHP (1-2, 3.34) contra Matt Cain, RHP (2-1, 2.79)
Juego 3: TBA contra Jon Sánchez

¡Vaya ARow!

....que?

Anyways, this is a big series for us. Time for PAYBACK!!!

Also, was just looking at the ESPN Power Rankings (we're #7 this week) and saw this

Fred Lewis (.400 BA, 1.132 OPS) has been a catalyst in May for the Jays, who have won seven of nine.

WTF? DAMMIT!!

Yep, he's been great for them.

Try watching a Jays game sometime. You're guaranteed to hear a "Why did the Giants trade this guy again?"

It's depressing. We don't even use Ishikawa anymore and Velez just plain sucks (isn't even on the team right now).

I'm still confused why you wrote the first post in Spanish.

Also, how did the Padres score run #2? I see #1 in the boxscore but...it doesn't show how they scored the 2nd?

It's the Padres! To be fair, I don't speak Spanish. I used one of those awful online translators, so it's probably all gobbledygook.

The first two runs came off of Eckstein's (666) bases loaded single in the second.

Zito looks to be back to being sucky Zito.

Why do I have the feeling that we are going to lose 2-3 or 1-2 again?

How pathetic would a loss here be.

Here's an article about Panda's slump. http://www.mercurynews.com/sports/ci_15074010.

Take note that he's played every game this year. Great way to fight fatigue.

Sanchez is the new Cain.

That being said, we need to trade one of our pitchers (Sanchez or Cain) and get us a bat. A real bat. Because we have a team of decent role players, but no one to GET A HIT WHEN YOU NEED ONE.

Oh, and fire Sabean. I still can't believe we re-signed Sanchez when we knew he would be out for months? Now THAT'S Embarrassing.
