Cain has a lower ERA than Ubaldo. 8-)

Still, f*ck Jay Payton. Never liked that guy.

C'mon Reds. Pleaseeee.

Mark Reynolds has a higher stikeout total than his batting average. I think he's on my fantasy team. This may make me the worst fantasy owner ever, but I want his K total to be at 20 higher than his BA by Thursday. Not that much to ask for, right?

We gotta sweep the Dbacks or at least take two of three. I can't take this drama!

The Giants enter the season's final week with one ominous medical problem. Second baseman Freddy Sanchez will undergo an MRI today on his right shoulder, which he injured while turning a double play Saturday. He confessed he is concerned.

Feck, didn't know that. Huffer is noticeably banged up too, and I'm sure a lot of guys are playing hurt as well. It would be a huge blow if Sanchez can't finish the season, since he's been HOT the last month and a half. Then again, he hit a HR with that screwed up arm, so hopefully it's nothing too serious.

Also, we need a sweep against the D-Backs, we have to get those wins against below .500 teams at the end of the season. Hopefully the Cubs will get a win or two against the Padres as well.

Man this stuff is scary.

Wow! I can't believe I missed two masterful pitching performances. Timmy and Matt right now have been lights out and especially Matt Cain who has been there for the Giants throughout the second half.

The one game I was able to tune into was Zito's and I was too disappointed to even talk about the game. Funny thing was that I was literally jumping up and down when Ross hit that 3-run shot, but only to end up losing the game. :(

Bring on Arizona and go Cubs!

So here's the deal. I have a bad feeling about making a series thread myself, so I'd like to see one from JayFromLA, or the new guy with the stellar username, Buster Posey.

Also, we might be without Franchez, which sucks because he's been stellar. Billions and billions of hits.

You can start a Padres/Cubs thread, maybe that bad luck will go over there. :dontknow:
