WHY DID WE GET TEJADA? Anyone could of told you that dude was so washed up...oh my lord!!!
I could go into a lot of things but I'm gonna stick to the recent. Huff Daddy and Tejada. Super bonehead moves. We could of allocated those funds into resigning Beltran.
If you guys listen to KNBR in the morning Murph & Mac were trashing Beltran a few weeks ago and it got me so irate. Dude is a stud and if we didn't **** up this offseason with those moves we definantly could of resigned him.
I'm not gonna freak out cause we won our series last year but mannnnn.... Imagine if posey doesn't get hurt, we juice huff for a way more realistic deal, and we don't touch Tejada with a 12 foot pole and get Beltran.... SHIET I'm salvating at the mouth thinkin about it.

Re: Beltran
Huff was re-signed and given that large contract because based on his performance last season, he was EXTREMELY underpaid for what he gave us (we signed him for little to nothing and he finished in the top 10 in MVP voting) and..well..he helped us win a World Series. There was no way he was going to leave the Giants after that (and everyone was in love with him and his thong).
Tejada is a different story completely. For one, he only signed a one year deal, and most of the other SS that were available weren't much better, or wanted a longer and larger deal. I hated the signing, but at least he's gone...just think, we almost stuck with Uribe for 3 years at 7-9 million per. Yikes.
