Great outing by the kid today. Eight shutout innings, 4 HA, and 8 K's against a team the roughed him up last time. I think he may have found a secret to success....chewing gum. It's the first time he's done it that I've noticed.

Just want to throw this out there. NOT saying this will or could happen. NOT saying I want this to happen. Just interesting to see people's views on this.

Would you trade Lincecum (or Cain I guess we can include) straightup for either Howard in Phil or Fielder in Mil?

Yes!, in a heatbeat. Both these guys are going to be around for a long time and both have the ability to make the HOF.

Lincecum is as good as i've ever seen come along but the trouble with young pitchers lies in their ability to avoid arm troubles. Too often, a great young pitcher goes down, never to return to the pitcher he once was.

My choise between these guys would be to trade Cain for Fielder. I don't think we could even get close to a deal like that. I could be wrong here, not my strong point, but that's my line of thinking.

I **** hate the bullpen so bad. You knew that was going to happen before the game even started. Lincecum should have 9 wins easy by now. At least when you knew the warriors were going to lose for 13 years it was entertaining. Watching the bullpen suck ass and lose is just plain boring.

Yep, Sucks big time. Cain pitched a bute, 11k's -0- runs. Bullpen allowed a tater to tie it up. Another game Cain deserved to win.

Yeah, he piped it right down main street and Zimmerman couldn't even get off a swing.
