Giants GM Brian Sabean said he is “probably at the end of the rope” concerning contract negotiations with Pablo Sandoval, and that talks have been tabled between the club and its All-Star third baseman.

I think I read earlier that Sandoval wants a contract similar to Pence. That's insane. Hopefully he's motivated to get a big deal from someone else in the offseason and not just pouty all year.

1) He's batting .161 to start the season, but the team is still winning. He gives Sabean no reason to hand out such a lucrative contract.

2) He career has been injury riddled (two broken hamate bones, pulled hamstring, and ulnar neuritis in his throwing elbow).

3) His weight has been, and will always be a concern.

He's not going to get the 5/90... atleast not from the Giants. Both parties should just meet half way, I'm thinking something along the lines of 4/60. If he doesn't take that, let him walk.

This is not a major league pitcher.

Timmy is a train wreck. We need to reserve him for relief duties only.
