BA Top 100 Prospects 2008 - 2 Giants

Here is the link to Baseball America's 2008 Top 100 Prospect List. Two Giants made the list. I was hoping for three but it appears that Madison Bumgarner just missed the cut.

Anyways, the big shock has to be our stud prospect Angel Villalona at #33 (by the way the youngest player on the list). BA seems to think as high of him as we do. To be only 17 at ranked the 33rd best prospect in all of baseball says something about this kid. You will also notice that they have his listed at 3B/1B. It will be interesting to watch how the Giants handle him.

Tim Alderson also made the list at #84. Interesting stat they posted for Alderson; between high school and pro ball last year, he posted a 123-4 K-BB ratio. Impressive!
